Each summer, St. Mark’s offers a special week of fun and learning for children in the form of Vacation Bible School. Each year’s theme takes the form of songs, crafts, games and of course, Bible stories. VBS classes this year are 5-8 p.m. (including an hour for dinner beginning at 5 p.m.) July 13-15, for ages 3 years (and completely toilet trained) through fifth grade. Child care is available for younger children. The cost is $20 per child for up to two children, with additional children free (so $40 maximum per family).

Vacation Bible School is an outreach ministry for St. Mark’s to educate children about God. All children (ages 3 years through fifth grade) are welcome to attend this program. It is not necessary that your family worships at St. Mark’s – any family interested in helping their child to learn about God and the Bible may enroll in the program. See the July Messenger here for complete information on adult and child programming.

The last time we were able to hold VBS, in 2019, the theme was Love Your Neighbor.  The week-long camp included building peace poles and peace posters. To learn more about our VBS program take a look this video and some of the exciting activities that were conducted at camp helping children to engage, be kind, and spread God’s love at peace markers!
