How Can We Pray For You
St. Mark’s Weekly E-blast
We gather, connect, and serve so all may experience the love of Christ.

Rev. Lynn Bartlow, Lead Pastor
Our staff is on a retreat today and tomorrow. These yearly retreats are intended to build our team, to plan ahead, to tackle things that need bigger conversations, and to spend more time in our spiritual practices together.
Our staff will spend concentrated time on Thursday in prayer for our congregation. How can we pray for you? Use this link to send us a prayer request that will be lifted up while we meet. This may be a simple prayer for a good year in school or it may be a more complex prayer about health issues. It may be something you’ve told us before or something you’ve never told anyone. It’s the same link that’s available all the time to submit prayer requests, so even if you miss our retreat, it is never too late for prayer!
While our staff will be spending concentrated time in prayer on Thursday, we are grateful that St. Mark’s has a Prayer Ministry that meets every week to pray for the requests you send in during the week or as part of worship. If you would like to be a part of this small group, reach out to Kay H. or the church office, and we will connect you.
The United Methodist Church teaches that prayer is how we communicate with God. In prayer, we share our hearts. We also pause to listen for wisdom and guidance. As John Wesley wrote, “All that a Christian does, even in eating and sleeping, is prayer, when it is done in simplicity, according to the order of God.”
How can we pray for you?
See you soon,
Pastor Lynn
