How do we participate in Social Justice?
United Methodists and St. Mark’s continue a long tradition of social justice. Methodism’s founder, John Wesley, committed to improving the conditions for the poor, enslaved and imprisoned. This continues through the United Methodist Social Principles, the official stance of the United Methodist Church on social issues. St. Mark’s is addressing these issues in a variety of ways.
