Breeze is a Breeze!

You may remember that when we merged our campuses, we also merged the Church Management Software we use. If you are still unfamiliar with Breeze, the article below gives a lot of information!

What? What’s Breeze?

Breeze CHMS is our Church Management System, where we keep information on contact info, volunteering, giving, events, sign ups, and so much more. Think of Breeze as your online directory for connecting with other St. Markians! 

Let’s walk through logging in together.

 

Breeze can be accessed through their website or their app.

Email info@umcstmarks.org and ask to have an invitation link sent to you to create an account or visit umcstmarks.breezechms.com/login/create and use your name/email address to request an invitation to log in.

Either way, an email invitation will be sent to you to, “Create Your St. Marks United Methodist Account” with a link to set up your ID and password. Remember to create a strong and unique password! This will connect you to your profile in the Breeze database. If you forget your password, you can reset it. You’ll just need access to the email account you used when you created your log in.

Website

You can access the Breeze website from https://umcstmarks.breezechms.com/ 

Breeze App

If you are looking for a Breezy way to access the Breeze database on the go, check out our Breeze app. With the app, you will see similar functionality to the web-based version. Only now, at the ease of your fingertips.

Because you can utilize this app remotely, it allows for you to quickly look up members and visitors within your database to access their contact information. The app allows you to easily give online, access your giving history and Manage Recurring Giving.

Login Information

The first time you use the Breeze app you will be prompted to enter our subdomain, umcstmarks. After entering your correct subdomain (umcstmarks), you will be prompted to enter your login information. After logging in the first time, you’ll be able to access https://umcstmarks.breezechms.com/ directly.

Once you log in, you’ll have access to these areas:

 

***Only congregants who have an account and are logged in will be able to access our online church database.***

My Profile

Details:

Main:

Anyone Can View: Name, Nickname, Title, Gender/Pronouns, Family Members, Contact Info, Church Campus

You Can Edit: Name, Nickname, Title, Gender/Pronouns, Birth-date, Marital Status.

Family:

Anyone can view members of your family and the family picture.

You can edit: Can add or change the family photo; If you click on a family member you will also be able to change their information just as you would your own; If you need to add or remove a family member, contact the office info@umcstmarks.org.

Documents: Can only be seen and edited by you

Education & Work: Can only be seen by you

Contact Information:

Your address and email addresses, your phone numbers. Can edit and if you click show more options on any one of these you can choose to make them private. This will block them from being seen by other members.

Emergency Contact Information: Can Only be seen by you

Edit or add up to two emergency contacts

Office Use Only: Only you can see your membership administrative info, such as: UMC Member Code and number, dates of baptism, confirmation, membership, etc. If you believe any of this administrative information is incorrect or incomplete, please email Sherry@umcstmarks.org.

Giving:

In your profile you can also see your giving history. Please know that only you can see this information online. You can also see any forms that you have filled out, or any volunteering that you have done.

People

Here you can view the names of current St. Mark’s UMC congregants. Contact information may display based on the congregant’s privacy settings.

Events

Conveniently access the calendar from the church website to see what’s going on without leaving Breeze. Note: It may take up to a minute for the details to transfer from the website to Breeze.

Forms

Fill in forms and view your form history.

How Do I Change Information in My Profile?

It’s easy to make changes to information in your profile.

  1. Select the gray header above the information you want to change. Click “click to edit section”
  2. Make the changes
  3. Select “Save”

If the information is not available for editing by the congregant, the “Save” and “Cancel” buttons will not appear on the gray bar. If you believe any of your information is incorrect or incomplete, please email info@umcstmarks.org.
