We know that visiting a church for the first time can be a scary experience. At St. Mark’s Dove Mountain, we are committed to making your experience warm and welcome. Whether it’s your very first time at church or not, you’ll find the worship service easy to follow, the teachings meaningful and relevant to everyday life, but most of all, we hope you feel the sense of community.
Worship is open to children of any age and adults. We believe that including children in worship is very important to their Christian journey. The best way to teach children is by example. That’s why there is a dedicated, supervised section during worship for students. This helps children understand the importance of church and experience the love and sense of community from worshiping together. Infants and toddlers are also welcome in worship, or childcare is available for families.
Worship service is led by Rev. Dr. Evy McDonald. Our site director, Kim Ogle along with a host of other dedicated staff (including trained childcare workers) are ready to make each Sunday a rich, meaningful experience and a great start to your week. You can expect a blended worship service that has a casual, community feel. Enjoy your coffee while listening to a mix of contemporary praise songs and familiar hymns led by musicians. The sermon will be streamed live from our sister church located at Magee/LaCanada Road in Tucson. Rev. Sharon Ragland, lead pastor typically preaches the message. There will be a time for prayer during service and communion will be served on the first Sunday.
St. Mark’s Dove Mountain is the new sister church of St. Mark’s (Magee/LaCanada) and part of the United Methodist denomination. This is our heritage and continues to shape St. Mark’s in every aspect of our ministry. Both St. Mark’s locations share a common purpose and mission–changing the world through Christ, by caring for all people!
The main entrance to our worship space (cafeteria) is on the west side of the school campus. Simply follow the parking signs around the building, for plenty of accessible parking within close walking distance to the main entrance.
St. Mark’s Dove Mountain worship service is in the cafeteria of the Dove Mountain CSTEM K-8 school at 5650 W Moore, Rd, Marana, AZ 85658.
