Special Announcement!

April 19, 2024

Dear St. Mark’s congregation,

Enclosed is a letter from our Bishop announcing Pastor Tu’ulau Lolohea as our new Sanctuary Campus Pastor here at St. Mark’s. Pastor Tu’ulau will be joining us on July 1, 2024. He and his family come most recently from Page, AZ, but he grew up in California & Hawaii, and lived for a while in Tonga.

The SPRC met Pastor Tu’ulau on Thursday and are excited to welcome him to St. Mark’s. As the letter from our District Superintendent shares, he has many gifts for ministry that fit within the needs of our community. This was evident in our time with him. As an extra bonus, we have no doubt that we will all learn more about Tongan and Hawaiian culture while Pastor Tu’ulau (say it “too-lau”) leads us.

Until he begins here in July, we invite your prayers for him and his family. He and his wife and two elementary-aged children just welcomed a new baby one week ago! As they prepare to relocate, they will need housing and all the other joys of moving. The SPRC will let you know how we will officially welcome Pastor Tu’ulau.

We also invite your continued prayers for Pastor Kevin and his family in this time of transition. The SPRC will let you know how we will honor and thank Pastor Kevin for his service with us.

Thank you for your prayers!

Blessings,
Rev. Lynn Bartlow
Senior Pastor
