Pet Memorial Service

As our family began our move to Tucson, we were excited to see that St. Mark’s has an Animal Ministry Team. Our own cats are important parts of our family and we were excited to join a faith community that recognizes that.

One of the ministries offered by our Animal Ministry Team is the pet memorial. This yearly worship service welcomes all who have experienced the loss of a beloved animal friend. Whether furry, feathered, or scaled, our pets have woven themselves into the fabric of our lives, leaving indelible imprints of love and companionship. This service acknowledges the pain of losing our beloved pets through prayers, moments of reflection, and scripture.

All are welcome to join us in this time of remembrance and healing, as we praise God for the gift of our animal companions.
