Welcome to the Middle of Holy Week

Welcome to the middle of Holy Week. For many, it’s a period of solemn reflection and spiritual renewal, culminating in the celebration of Easter Sunday. For others, it’s just another week of state testing at school, of sick kids, of surgeries and of endless doctor’s appointments. To be honest, life’s challenges can sometimes overshadow our spiritual aspirations.

Yet, even in our moments of doubt or weariness, Holy Week offers an opportunity for solace and introspection. It’s a chance to reconnect with our faith, to ponder the mysteries of sacrifice and redemption, and to find solace in the promise of renewal and hope.

I pray that you will take the time to commemorate the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ through this time of reflection, prayer, and renewal. Come as you are and journey with us as we draw closer to the heart of God.

Wednesday… Come eat at the table with the community and be reminded of your place at the table Jesus shares.
Thursday… Come receive communion and be reminded of the power of forgiveness.
Friday… Come let the music of the choir and orchestra wash over you and move you.
Saturday… Come let the beauty of the outdoors and the soft harp music center you.

Whatever you need, come and receive the gift of this Holy Week.
